There was one at a church down the street from us not long ago. After that, I saw a photo posted of one (from another state) on Facebook, and the comments that ensued made it clear that this is a COMMON practice all over the United States.
Do the people who put up these signs just not think of the obvious, and hilarious, second meaning? It blows my mind (pun intended) that any church would put this up without someone realizing that it's a really, really bad idea!
Who came up with this slogan in the first place? Does anyone know? It really makes one wonder what goes on behind the doors of the churches that display that sign!
